Have you ever seen brown eyes in the sun? You don’t always notice it at first but you’ll see that ‘brown’ no longer describes them. They melt into golden rays, circling an eclipse. There’s nothing boring about brown eyes, not even when the later hours encroach; they just turn into a sunset of their own.

Quote
"What’s more, there are lots of people who view themselves as “sensitive introverts”, when they are really covert narcissists. These individuals are characterized by their sense of entitlement to social attention. Accordingly, they are hurt easily by the slightest remark of others, are hyper self conscious and self absorbed, and are frequently upset that others don’t recognize their brilliance. Covert narcissism is strongly associated with neuroticism, not introversion."

i remember when i was younger and had just started identifying as queer. I got really upset if someone dropped comments like “oh you can just tell that they’re gay!” because of how someone acted or dressed. i’d argue that “your clothes doesn’t matter! queer people are just like everyone else! you can’t tell someone’s sexuality by the way they dress!!”

nowadays i get offended if someone can’t tell that i’m queer by the way i look
